Scope
This privacy statement clarifies customers about the nature, extent and purpose of data acquisition and the use of personal information by the responsible provider HQ plus GmbH, Claire-Waldoff-Str. 1, 10117 Berlin, info@hqplus.de, +49 (0)30 28042750, on this website (in the subsequent “proposal”).

The legal foundations of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act.

Login details/ Server-Logfiles

HQ plus (or respectively its web space provider) collects data on each visit of the website (so called “server log files”). Accessing data includes:

The name of the requested website, file, date and time of the request, quantity of data transmitted, notification of successful transmission, browser type and  version, the operating system of the customer, referrer URL (previously visited website), IP address and the requesting provider.

HQ plus only uses the log data for statistical evaluations and for the purpose of business operations, as well as for the safety and optimization of the product. HQ plus maintains the right to retrospectively examine the log data if there is justified suspicion of unlawful usage due to concrete proof.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that enables the identification of an individual, i.e. information which may be traced back to an individual. This includes the name, e-mail address and telephone number, as well as information in regards to preferences, interests, memberships and which websites were viewed by an individual.

Personal data will only be collected, accessed and passed on by HQ plus if permitted by law or consented by the customer in question.

Establishing contact

While contacting the seller (e.g. using the contact form or e-mail), the data of the customer is recorded for the purpose of processing the request and in case that further inquiries may occur.

Newsletter

With the newsletter HQ plus informs the customer about the company and its offers as well as industry related news.

If someone wishes to receive the newsletter, HQ plus requires a valid e-mail address and information that allows HQ plus to verify that  visitor is the owner of the e-mail address or that the owner agrees to be receiving the newsletter as well as the full name of the customer. Further data is not collected. This information is only used for the dispatch of our newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

By registering for the newsletter, HQ plus stores the IP address and date of registration. This storage is used solely as evidence in the event that a third party collected and abused an e-mail address and logs into a profile without the knowledge of the person entitled to the newsletter service.

Customer consent to the storage of data, e-mail addresses and its use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any given time. The cancellation may be effected via a link in the newsletter itself, in the customer profile settings or via a message to the contact details above.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable the storage of specific device information on the access device of the user (PC, smartphone, etc.). They are needed for the user-friendliness of websites (for example, storing login data) and serve to detect the statistical data of the website usage in order to improve and analyze it. The customer can have an active influence in regards to the use of cookies. Most browsers are equipped with an option which limits or completely prevents the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the usage, in particular the user convenience without enabling cookies will be restricted.

Google Analytics

HQ plus uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “Cookies” – text files that are stored on users’ computers – to help analyze how users use the website. The information generated by the cookies in regards to the use of this website by users is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If the customer enables the IP anonymization on this website, the IP address of Google users will be truncated within Member States of the European Union and other parties within the accord of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP-anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website Google will use this information to evaluate the website usage and to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other website and internet related services to the website operator.

The IP address that was transmitted as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. The customer may refuse the use of cookies by adjusting their browser software; however, the customer should note that they may not be able to use features of the website to their full extent. This website contains “AddThis” plugins that will allow the customer to set bookmarks or share interesting website content. The use of “AddThis” includes the use of cookies. The generated data (such as time of usage or browser language) is transmitted to the AddThis LLC in the USA and processed there. For more information on data processing by AddThis LLC and their sata protection policy, see www.addthis.com/privacy. This website contains information about the type of data processed and their intended use. Distribution of the data through HQ plus will not occur. With use of the “AddThis” field, the customer consents to the data processing policies by AddThis LLC , as stated on the website www.addthis.com. The customer may oppose the use of data at any time by using an “Opt-Out Cookie”. For details, please consult the aforementioned website AddThis LLC.

Optimizely

Optimizely is a web analytics service for product improvement. the customers IP address is anonymized and not merged with other data from Optimizely. on may refuse the use of cookies also by changing the browser settings . The customer may also the turn the Optimizely tracking off at any time (and thus the data generated by the cookie in regards to website usage, the anonymized IP address, as well as its processing) by clicking on the link below:

HotJar

This website uses HotJar, a web analysis tool. Interactions of random visitors of the website are recorded anonymously. This creates a log of mouse movements and clicks with the aim to identify opportunities for improvement of the respective website. Additionally, information regarding the operating system, browser, inbound and outbound links, geographical origin as well as resolution and equipment usage for statistical purposes. This information is not personally identifiable and will not be disclosed to third parties. Cancellation, changes, corrections and updates

The customer has the right to free information in regards to the personal data that has been stored. Additionally, the customer retains the right to correct inaccurate data and block and delete personal data, as far as there is no legal obligation to retain.
